Head Chef at The Garden Restaurant, Swarkestone Nursery & Garden Centre
An exciting opportunity working with fresh, seasonal produce to create quality dishes within a spacious modern kitchen. We have a 200 cover counter service restaurant.
Hours are 8.30am-5.30pm working Sunday through to Thursday approximately. No evening work or split shifts. Free on-site parking.
The right candidate must be hard-working, willing to get stuck-in, self-motivated and have excellent hospitality/ customer service skills. You will need to demonstrate great leadership skills and the ability to build a high performing kitchen team.
You would be responsible for ordering food from our local butchers, vegetables from our local market gardeners and dry stores. You will have free reign (within reason) to cook and present the menu you wish.
